Gas

These planchas will run on both Butane and Propane gas canisters.

However, we reccommend using Propane as this is compatible with the propane gas connector kit that we sell.

How to install your plancha grill

Step 1

Remove unit from box and locate the gas connector kit, battery and hose tail (gas connector kit sold separately). It will arrive upside down in the box so be careful when lifting it out.

Step 2

Insert battery into compartment at the rear of the plancha which will allow the piezo (ignitor) to function.

Step 3

Connect hose tail to gas connector on rear of plancha. Ensure the fibre washer is in place.

Step 4

Attach one end of the gas hose to the rear of the plancha then connect the other end of the hose to the gas regulator on your gas bottle (gas bottle not included).

Step 5

Pull out the residue drawer slightly to allow the drainage hole to fit into the base.

Step 6

Place the cooking plate on to the unit by lining up the square drainage hole and rear pin at the opposite corner.

Step 7

Turn the safety valve in the gas regulator to the open position to allow gas to flow through the hose.

Step 8

Press one of the control knobs on the front of the plancha for a few seconds and press the silver piezo (ignitor button) in the centre to ignite the flames.

Step 9

Your plancha is now lit and ready to cook on! Should you have any problems please refer to the manual linked below.

Using the plancha for the first time

When using the plancha for the first time we recommend that you clean the grill plate with water and a sponge to remove any residue from packaging.
Light the plancha for a few minutes and let it heat up. As this is the first time that the plancha is being lit the gas may take a while to work its way through.
Add a light surface of oil and you are ready to cook!
