What can you cook on the plancha grill?

What can't you cook? The plancha grill cooking surface is pretty much a large griddle pan so can be used to cook a large variety of food. Meat, fish, vegetables and many more. Even grilled cheese sandwiches!

What will I receive with my plancha?

The basic plancha comes with the following:

Plancha (in orange or anthracite)
Apron
Short spatula
Gas hose tail
Battery (for Piezo)

How long does delivery take?

All orders are usually delivered within 7 days from date of purchase.

Are the utensils dishwasher safe?

Yes the utensils and drip tray are all dishwasher safe.

Which gas does it use?

The Simogas plancha can be used with both Propane and Butane gas. However we recommend using Propane if purchasing from us due to the increased burn temperature (we supply a Propane gas connector kit (sold seperately)).

What is your returns policy?

If you’ve changed your mind about your order after you’ve received it, that’s fine. Just return it to us in the original packaging and in perfect resaleable condition within 14 days of delivery of your order and we’ll refund you in full. No delivery charges will be refunded. Please see our Shipping & Returns page for further details.

If you believe your product to be defective, or that you are entitled to a replacement under warranty, please do not return the item to us. Let us know by emailing us.

How long is the guarantee?

All Planchas come with a triple guarantee which covers them in event of breakdown or manufacturing defect.

Cooking plate & burners - 20 years
Parts - 5 years
General guarantee - 2 years

The 20-5-2 warranty is only valid if it is registered with Simogas within a maximum of 6 months after purchase. Please click on the 'Register your Plancha' button in the top right hand corner of the screen for further details on how to register your Plancha.

How much is UK shipping?

We offer free Standard Delivery within England and Wales on all orders over £50.

Orders under £50 carry a £10 charge.

How do I clean the plancha grill?

The plancha cooking surface can be cleaned using the following method:

When you have finished cooking heat the plate up for approximately 10 minutes.
Pour a small amount of water over (or place a few ice cubes on) over the hot plate.
Remove food residue with the spatula by pushing it into the drip tray on the left hand side.
Leave to cool and re oil.
Cover for next use

Are the covers weather resistant?

Both the short and long covers are weather resistant. If you are leaving the plancha outside without being used for long periods of time in inclement or winter weather we recommend storage inside a building where possible.
