How to clean your plancha grill
Light the placncha grill and let it heat up for about 10 minutes.
Pour water on to the grill plate to deglaze. This will help to loosen any food residue.
Use the spatula to push the residue into the drip tray.
Allow to cool completely before covering. Now your plancha is ready to use next time!
Drip Tray Cleaning
The drip tray is located down the left hand side of the plancha grill. It can be removed by pulling the tray from the front of the plancha. It is recommended that you empty the drip tray after every use before it has cooled down. After removing it can be cleaned using warm water or is also dishwasher safe.
Storage
We use our plancha grills all year round but if you would prefer to put your unit into storage for the winter season please ensure the grill plate is fully cleaned prior to storage to avoid any residual food growing mould. The plancha can be stored outside all year round if using one of our lids or weather proof covers but can also be stored in a garage or outbuilding.
