Cook Outdoor was formed initially just over a year ago by friends Gareth and Tom. Trying to find a plancha in the UK is not an easy task, finding a good one even harder. Cook Outdoor was created to solve this issue for people in the UK looking for more than a BBQ.
Bit of background
Both Gareth and Tom have day jobs alongside Cook Outdoor. Gareth is a chef and runs a popular dining pub specialising in American and Mexican food and Tom is an Aerospace Engineer. Gareth & Tom have been good friends since they met at Primary School and have a shared love for good food and outdoor cooking. After buying a plancha for their own personal use both Gareth & Tom were soon hooked and wanted to share their discovery with the UK market. Since discovering cooking a la plancha we are really enjoying experimenting with new recipes and dishes and are counting down the days until we can socialise with friends & family in the sunshine.
